Welcome to the official website of GHEDS (Global Health Education and Development Society) Trust. GHEDS is a registered Public Charitable Trust in Kelamangalam, Tamil Nadu (Regd No: 18 of 2013), recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu. We hold tax exemptions under Section 12AA (granted August 2016) and approval under Section 80G (Unique Registration No: AACTG0205D/05/16-17/T-0977/80G, dated 28th June 2017) from the Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions), Chennai.

2. Our Mission and Objective

GHEDS Trust operates with the mission to transform lives through health initiatives, education programs, and development activities (such as cow banking, tree plantation, and tailoring classes). We partner with Community Based Organizations (CBOs), Corporates, like-minded NGOs, and Government organizations. Our services are extended to the poor and underserved in India, irrespective of caste, creed, or religion.

3. Use of Website Content

  • All content on this website—including text, graphics, logos, images, and program details—is the property of GHEDS Trust.
  • You may view, download, and print materials for personal, non-commercial, and educational use only.
  • Any unauthorized modification, reproduction, or distribution of this content for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited without written consent from GHEDS Trust.

4. Donations and Tax Exemptions

  • All financial contributions made to GHEDS Trust are utilized strictly for our designated charitable programs (Education, Health Camps, Cow Bank, Women Empowerment, etc.).
  • Donors are eligible for tax deduction benefits under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (Approval date: 28th June 2017).
  • Receipts for donations will be issued based on the details provided by the donor. Please ensure your PAN and contact details are accurate to receive the tax-exempt certificate.
  • Refund Policy: Donations made to GHEDS Trust are generally non-refundable. If an error is made during the online transaction, please contact us within 7 days.

5. User Conduct and Integrity

In alignment with our core values—where we believe every person is entitled to freedom, justice, peace, and opportunity—users agree not to:

  • Use the website to defame, abuse, harass, or violate the legal rights of others.
  • Post or transmit any false, misleading, or malicious information regarding our trust or the communities we serve in Denkanikottai taluk and other regions.
  • Attempt to disrupt the website’s security or server infrastructure.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes arising out of the use of this website or donations made to the trust shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Krishnagiri / Dharmapuri District, Tamil Nadu, India.
